Rabbits

Welcome to Rabbits!

Welcome to the Rabbits class with Mrs Moore. Year 2 is an exciting and challenging year! In Year 2 we are always reaching for the stars and we love learning. As the oldest children in our school, we act as role models for younger children and set a good example both in work and in play.

Come and have a look at all the different things we have been doing...

Today we had a very special visit from Mr Merriman and Barbara the skeleton. We learnt so much about the role of a physiotherapist and all about the human body. Ask your child to tell them what they learnt about bones and muscles. Can they answer these quiz questions;

What does a physiotherapist do?

How many bones can they name? What do we have bones for?

Why are muscles special? What can they do?

How many body parts can you name with only 3 letters?

A huge thank you to Mr Merriman, we all learnt lots!

As part of our Seaside topic, we have learnt about entertainment past and present. We also learnt lots about the history of the seaside show, Punch and Judy, and we watched a brilliant show. Lots of giggles and learning had by all! A huge thank you to George.
