We can't wait for our next session!
Today we had a very special visit from Mr Merriman and Barbara the skeleton. We learnt so much about the role of a physiotherapist and all about the human body. Ask your child to tell them what they learnt about bones and muscles. Can they answer these quiz questions;
What does a physiotherapist do?
How many bones can they name? What do we have bones for?
Why are muscles special? What can they do?
How many body parts can you name with only 3 letters?
A huge thank you to Mr Merriman, we all learnt lots!
We had a great day working in our pyjamas raising lots of money for Comic Relief!
Thank you everyone!
This afternoon we had a brilliant time doing Circus Skills! We had so much fun learning how to spin plates, balance, juggle and walk on stilts. Even Mrs Hall tried out the block catching!

Wow! What an amazing day at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park! We had a great time looking at lots of different sculptures and thinking about how they made us feel and the different materials they were made from. We looked at sculptures by lots of famous artists including Henry Moore - we thought they were all amazing! We also enjoyed working with the artist creating some different sculptures with clay and bottle tops!
Have a look at some of the pictures from our great day.
Well done everyone you were superstars!

It's been a very busy first week back starting our new topic! This week we have been thinking about sculptures. We thought about what they are and what they are made from. We have also made some of our own! We have also been thinking about different materials and why we use materials to make certain things. Perhaps you could have a look at home and see how different materials are used around your home.
