Welcome to Year 2 2023/2024
Year 2 is the final year of Berry Brow School, which means a special year for your children where they grow and learn so much! Our Year 2 children will be role models for all the children in school and have many important jobs. We look forward to reaching for the stars this year!
The class teachers are Mrs Boosey, Mrs Mason and Mrs Uddin, supported by Mrs Wormald and Miss Hancox. We are here to help and support so come and chat to us any time!
Class Reminders
- We visit the library weekly and participate in daily guided reading so please bring your book bag every day
- Our PE days are Mondays and Fridays so please make sure your kit is in school
- Please label ALL your clothes
- We love to hear what you have been up to out of school, remember you can upload to your child's Evidence Me learning journey through the app at home
Home Learning
- Reading daily is so important, even if just a couple of pages! You will get reading books every week, and you can also access books online through Oxford Owl for Home: help your child learn at home - Oxford Owl
- Every Friday we have a Spelling Challenge, please try to help your child learn these spellings at home.
- If your child would like to do any learning at home, we love to see topic learning so bring it in for our weekly show and tell!
